Blue View Imaging

Blue View Imaging is a network-imaging and endpoint-management platform for organizations that need to deploy, maintain, and manage many computers from one place.

At its core it does one job: capture a machine's disk to an image over the network, then deploy that image to other machines, also over the network, using PXE boot. Around that core it adds the pieces an IT team actually needs to run this at scale — a web console for managing hosts and images, task scheduling for imaging and maintenance jobs, and distribution of software packages to registered machines after they come up.

Typical use: a new PC joins the network and PXE-boots to the imaging server instead of its own disk. From there an administrator can capture its disk as a master image, deploy an existing image to it, or hand it a queue of software to install. No agent has to be preinstalled and no physical media has to be carried from machine to machine.

Blue View Imaging is built on FOG Project, an open-source computer imaging solution, and is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3 (GPLv3).
